Children's Ministries

Children's Ministry welcomes and invites children from birth through the fifth grade into a loving fellowship to begin and be inspired on their faith journeys, to learn the fundamentals of the faith, and to become a part of a Christian family for encouragement and support.

St. James United Methodist Church is committed to providing a nurturing worship experience for children of all ages, races, and backgrounds. Children's Ministry gives priority to a child's personal spiritual growth and expression, while maintaining the necessary procedures to sustain a caring and secure learning environment - a Safe Sanctuary. St. James Children's Ministry Committee is in the process of completing and implementing a Safe Sanctuary policy as requested by the United Methodist Church.
